Easing of restrictions - Print Service for students
From 8 June 2020 the Print Service for students will be available again.
Further details about building access for students, please refer to the latest ETH news:

The ETH Print service includes the provision, maintenance and operation of output devices for ETH OUs.

The range of output devices includes laser printers and multi-function devices (MFD)

The MFDs are equipped with release stations. Authentication takes place directly at the device via the personal ETH card or the personal nethz account.
Together with billing via prepaid and pull printing, we operate a redundant solution for computing labs, libraries or self-service stations through the institutes.

The multi-function devices can only be accessed via the print server with the queue card-stud, using the standard protocols and the various computer platforms, and also the Web Upload Portal for printing PDF files via the web.

Students can now also make use of the new print queue card-stud. All print jobs are saved there centrally and can be triggered with the ETH card on the printers in the student rooms.

Print jobs can also be sent via the Web Upload Portal ( or via SMB/LPR. (Server: Queue: card-stud)
